Kajian Literatur Efektivitas Penggunaan Computerized Adaptive Testing sebagai Alat Ukur

Abstract


Perkembangan teknologi berdampak dan memiliki andil yang sangat besar terhadap dunia Pendidikan, salah satunya terkait perubahan proses pengukuran dan evaluasi. Proses pengukuran dan evaluasi memiliki peranan penting dalam menentukan apakah kualitas yang ditargetkan pendidikan terwujud atau tidak. Alat ukur yang digunakan harus sesuai dengan target atau tujuan yang dikehendaki dan telah direncanakan. Metode penelitian menggunakan studi literatur dengan narrative review. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui keunggulan dan efektivitas penggunaan Computerized Adaptive Testing (CAT) dibandingkan dengan metode lain dalam perkembangan metode pengukuran, serta mengidentifikasi efektivitas penggunaan CAT pada berbagai jenjang untuk mencapai target atau tujuan yang telah direncanakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Computerized Adaptive Testing merupakan inovasi dalam sistem pengujian yang dapat memberikan manfaat signifikan jika diterapkan dan dikembangkan dengan baik. Karena dapat menyesuaikan butir soal dengan tingkat kemampuan peserta tes Oleh karena itu, penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai desain dan implementasi CAT perlu dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kualitas sistem pengujian di Indonesia.
