Pengembangan Bahan Ajar Buku Saku Berbasis Kearifan Lokal DIY untuk Siswa Sekolah Dasar

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar berupa buku saku kearifan lokal Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY) bagi siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Pengembangan bahan ajar ini didasarkan pada kebutuhan siswa dan guru terhadap sumber belajar yang lebih kontekstual, ringan, dan mudah diakses. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) berdasarkan model Borg & Gall yang telah dimodifikasi. Proses penelitian meliputi studi pendahuluan, perencanaan, pengembangan produk awal, uji coba terbatas, revisi, uji lapangan, dan finalisasi produk. Hasil validasi oleh ahli materi dan ahli media menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar buku saku ini masuk dalam kategori sangat layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Uji coba terbatas dan uji lapangan melibatkan siswa dan guru dari beberapa sekolah dasar di Gugus 3 Kapanewon Piyungan, Bantul. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan buku saku kearifan lokal DIY dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang budaya dan kearifan lokal, serta memberikan kemudahan dalam pembelajaran. Kesimpulannya, pengembangan bahan ajar ini memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap penguatan karakter dan pemahaman siswa mengenai nilai-nilai budaya lokal dalam pendidikan dasar.
