Pengaruh Model Competency Based Training (CBT) terhadap Motivasi dan Kreativitas Mahasiswa Administrasi Rumah Sakit

Abstract


Transformasi pendidikan tinggi kesehatan berbasis Outcome-Based Education (OBE) menuntut pembelajaran yang mampu mengembangkan kompetensi, motivasi belajar, dan kreativitas mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh penerapan Competency-Based Training (CBT) terhadap motivasi belajar dan kreativitas mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Administrasi dan Supervisi Rumah Sakit. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain One-Group Pretest–Posttest yang melibatkan 18 mahasiswa Program Studi Administrasi Rumah Sakit Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Barat yang dipilih melalui teknik*purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan angket motivasi belajar dan kreativitas yang telah memenuhi uji validitas dan reliabilitas, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif, uji Shapiro–Wilk, N-Gain, Paired Sample t-test, dan ukuran efek (Cohen's d). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi belajar meningkat dari 66,83 menjadi 87,11 (*N-Gain* = 0,61) dan kreativitas meningkat dari 64,56 menjadi 85,72 (N-Gain = 0,60), keduanya berada pada kategori sedang. Uji Paired Sample t-test menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan pada motivasi maupun kreativitas (p < 0,001) dengan ukuran efek sangat besar. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa model CBT efektif meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan kreativitas mahasiswa serta berpotensi mendukung implementasi OBE pada pendidikan tinggi kesehatan.
